MBB: Dr. Max Behrend leaps into action after Dease chips two front teeth in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS - Max Behrend was enjoying his annual trip to Arch Madness on Thursday night when the East Troy Dental owner suddenly found himself back at work.
Valparaiso senior Owen Dease collided with Indiana State’s Sterling Young late in the first half of Valpo’s 63-62 victory over the Sycamores in the first round of the Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball tournament. Young went to the floor with blood pouring from a gash on his forehead while Dease sprinted straight to the locker room.
