MBB: Familiar face joining the Beacons for 2025-26 season

Cooper and Carson Schwieger were enjoying a meal at a local restaurant earlier this week when they spotted the Valparaiso men’s basketball coaching staff with a couple of fresh faces.

Cooper offered a greeting and asked the coaches if the players were new recruits.

One of the players flashed a wide smile and said “Cooper, you know me.”
