The Shot at 20: Five Years Later
Paul, I really enjoyed listening to the stories that Todd, Paul, Sean and you told about the time surrounding “the Shot”. I am impressed at the details that were remembered.
My wife and I were in our car, somewhere between Valpo and Florida. Somehow we were able to find a radio broadcast, shortly before Jamie inbounded the ball. We thought that he was under his own basket. Of coursed we were thrilled that Bryce made the shot, but amazed when we realized the play went the full court.
I played hooky from work that day, flew to OKC in the morning, scalped a ticket, and have a GREAT memory!
