This is the first of a two-part look at the remaking of the Valparaiso women’s basketball team heading into the 2026-27 season. The first part focuses on what happened last year and who is returning. The second part, which will be released on Friday morning, focuses on the new recruits who have committed to the program since the end of the 2025-26 season.

Courtney Boyd knew changes had to be made.

The roster was remade. Practice plans were rewritten. Furniture that wasn’t bolted to the wall was rearranged.
