Postseason starts now for Valpo soccer

SOC: Beacons have little room for error entering final 11 days of regular season

It all started with a match against Belmont.

The Valparaiso women’s soccer team began its improbable run through the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference tournament last October with a 1-0 win over the Bruins. Eleven days later, the Beacons were celebrating a trip to the NCAA tournament.

If Valpo is going to have an opportunity to return to the postseason, they’re likely going to need another improbable 11-day run that would start with a match against Belmont on Thursday night.
