Never a doubt for Dibb
WBB: Dibb takes a risk and lands at Valparaiso following late recruiting change
Autumn Dibb was settled into her seat on the team bus as the Muskego girls soccer team was set to begin a nearly two-hour trip north for their season opener against Kimberly on Friday, Apr. 4.
The three-sport star was looking forward to the start of soccer season. The Warriors defeated Kimberly last June for their third consecutive Wisconsin Division I state title. Dibb had already wrapped up her senior season of volleyball in the fall where she was second on the team in blocks. Then there was the basketball season where the Warriors advanced to the Division I state title game, only to fall short in a disappointing loss to Kimberly.
Basketball was the last thing on Dibb’s mind, except for maybe a little revenge against Kimberly, as the bus headed north on I-41. Her phone rang and Dibb was perplexed as she saw who was on the other end of the phone.
