MBB: Williamson eager for Valparaiso after representing Canada at U19 World Cup

Jahari Williamson had a decision to make.

When former Valparaiso men’s basketball coach Matt Lottich was let go in late March, the Canadian point guard’s future was in flux.

Williamson committed to Valpo last October and signed his National Letter of Intent the following month. He long ago stopped hearing from the host of other Division I programs that had been on his recruiting trail. Everything changed when Lottich was dismissed.

With everyone suddenly having an opinion about his future, Williamson turned to his faith.
