The Valparaiso football team will travel to Drake this Saturday for its Pioneer Football League road opener. The Beacons opened conference play at Brown Field with a 36-30 loss against Marist on Sept. 23. Valpo wrapped up nonconference play last Saturday with a come-from-behind victory against Southwest Minnesota State.
