The Valparaiso men’s basketball team clawed its way back into Wednesday’s game at Central Michigan, only to ultimately fall short in a 71-67 loss at McGuirk Arena.
The Beacons trailed by as many as 22 points in the second half before whittling the deficit down to three points in the closing moments.
