MGOLF: Valparaiso taking part in Monterrey Collegiate Classic in Mexico

There were moments on Thursday afternoon when all David Gring could do was just look around and smile.

The longtime Valparaiso men’s golf coach had to continually pinch himself as the Beacons spent their first full day in Mexico, preparing for this weekend’s Monterrey Collegiate Classic, the first international tournament in program history.
