SOC: Beacons look to turn the page following disappointing season

Maya Tyburowski (8), Landyn Wessels (16), Ashlyn Cohen (29), Kaleigh Shafer (22) and Anna Cup (12) are expected to be some of Valparaiso’s key contributors in 2025.

The Valparaiso women’s soccer returned to campus late Sunday night following a 3-0 loss to Missouri State in the 2024 regular-season finale.

While nine members of the roster got off the bus for the last time, there are 21 players who still might have plenty of bus rides in their future. A large contingent of the roster is set to return for 2025 and the work to turn the page from a disappointing season will begin almost immediately.
