Victory Village is coming, just not yet

Valparaiso President Jose Padilla provides updates on facilities and AD search in exclusive to The Victory Bell

Valparaiso University President José Padilla stepped to the podium on Apr. 12, 2023 and announced Roger Powell Jr. as the school’s new men’s basketball coach.

With hundreds in attendance, including then-athletic director Charles Small, Padilla also referenced a new athletic complex that was in the planning stages. Known as “Victory Village,” imagery of those plans were unveiled to a group of Valparaiso alumni during Homecoming weekend, as well as imagery for a new College of Nursing and Health Professionals complex.

Both complexes are still very much in the works, but the landscape has changed in regards to Victory Village as Padilla confirmed to The Victory Bell in an exclusive interview earlier this month.
