Beacons tied for best start in program history

Kara Cooper heard the same question from everyone last spring.

Fresh off a memorable run to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship title match last fall, the Valparaiso volleyball team graduated a ton of talent. When Cooper and her teammates began spring workouts, the senior hitter started hearing doubters.

“Are you even going to be good next year?”

After months of hearing from detractors and doubters, Cooper is ready to give her answer.
