Valpo skid hits eight games in blowout loss to Indiana State
MBB: Beacons limp to finish line despite strong performances from Wright and Schwieger
TERRE HAUTE - Kaspar Sepp and All Wright knocked down 3-pointers on Valparaiso’s first two possessions of Wednesday night’s game at Indiana State.
It didn’t matter.
Cooper Schwieger was as dialed in as he’s been all season for the opening 10 minutes against the Sycamores.
It didn’t matter.
Wright delivered one of the best statistical performances ever put forth by a Valparaiso freshman, if not any Valpo player.
It didn’t matter.
The Beacons came into the Hulman Center having lost seven straight games, but by and large they were competitive in those losses. That wasn’t the case in an 80-62 blowout loss on Wednesday night and that absolutely matters.
