All Wright and Justus McNair scored 43 of Valpo’s 83 points on Saturday night, including 24 of the last 28 points as the Beacons erased a 16-point deficit at Southern Illinois before pulling out an 83-79 victory in Carbondale.
Wright finished with a game-high 29 points while McNair scored all 14 of his points in the final 8:53 of action.
