It would be easy to look at Valparaiso’s upcoming postseason appearance and start thinking back to last year when the Beacons made it all the way to the NIVC title game.

Longtime Valpo volleyball coach Carin Avery isn’t concerned with what happened last year or what might happen tomorrow. All she wants is for her players to have fun when they take the court at Ohio on Thursday night in the opening round of the 2022 NIVC.
