ST. LOUIS - Each day I’ve walked to the Enterprise Center this week I’ve come across a movie theater with a giant Batman poster in the window. Being so immersed in basketball for the last several months, I didn’t even realize there was a new film coming out in the storied franchise.
Honestly, I don’t even remember who Batman is anymore. Adam West? Michael Keaton? George Clooney? Val Kilmer? Christian Bale? Ben Affleck? Apparently now it’s one of the guys from Twilight. Does it even matter?
The names might change, but the story remains the same.
In some ways, it feels like writing the obituary on another Valparaiso basketball season.
