Valparaiso football roster revealed

FB: The Beacons welcomed 119 players to campus this week, including a handful of new transfers

Boxes have been unloaded and unpacked. Hugs have been given and goodbyes have been said.

With the calendar ready to flip from July to August, the 119 members of the Valparaiso football team moved back to campus on Wednesday and were back on Brown Field on Thursday in preparation for the 2025 season.

As the players were going through their initial workout of fall training camp, Valparaiso released the roster for the upcoming season. The roster includes 63 returners, 38 true freshmen and 18 incoming transfers.

The Victory Bell will have plenty of coverage in the weeks leading up to the Aug. 30 opener against Virginia Lynchburg, including position-by-position breakdowns. As for now, here is a quick look at the 2025 roster with some superlatives, as well as a look at the new transfers that were added to the program since the beginning of the summer.
