MBB: Scroggins waiting his turn to contribute for the Beacons

Lucas Scroggins will walk into the Valparaiso men’s basketball locker room on Wednesday night and change into his uniform.

He’ll run out for pregame warmups. He’ll go through the layup line and through a series of stretching drills. He’ll stand side-by-side with his teammates for the national anthem.

Then, as Scroggins has done all season, he’ll make his way to the end of the bench and he’ll sit.

It’s all part of the plan.
