VALPARAISO - Darius DeAveiro has always been a little mysterious.

His trademark hair rests just above his eye line, often obscuring the chance to get a full look at his emotions.

DeAveiro put those emotions on full display on Wednesday night as he addressed the crowd at the Athletics-Recreation Center, the same arena where he has given his blood, sweat and tears for the last four years.
