Bowling ranked top team in the country in just third year of existence

Natalie Cortese was watching television in her apartment on Dec. 12, 2011, when the phone rang. It was a phone call she had been waiting for.

On the other end of the line was Valparaiso bowling coach Matt Nantais and he had some news to deliver. Natalie put the call on speaker so her roommates, sister Amanda and teammate Ashley Busiel could hear what was coming.
