I hope you’ve been enjoying The Victory Bell Summer Vacation series.
Over the last three weeks, we’ve taken in-depth looks at Baseball, Bowling and Women’s Basketball. There’s plenty more that come.
In interest of full disclosure, I wrote the bulk of those stories in early June and scheduled them to be published throughout the following weeks. My intent was to have several detailed stories on Softball this week, but I ran out of time in writing them before I departed for three weeks in Europe.
Internet access has not been the best as of late, and as I sit in my hotel room in Venice, listening to singers moving up and down the canals, I barely had enough power to upload the photo of the Colosseum that I took last week.
All that being said, The Victory Bell is taking a break for a week. We’ll be back on July 6th as we’ll have a State of the Program story on Softball as well as a feature story on senior pitcher Easton Seib.
Thank you all for subscribing to The Victory Bell. I hope you’re enjoying the content. If you’re not already a paid subscriber, you can get full access to the archives when you become one. There’s also some exciting content coming in July as TheCRU, Valparaiso’s TBT squad will hold training camp in Valpo before departing for Omaha. I’ll be there for every step of the way. I hope you will be too.
Time to go and get more gelato.
How do you eat that without it melting all over you?!
