VALPARAISO - Roger Powell Jr. is not above using props when it comes to finding a little bit of extra motivation for his Valparaiso men’s basketball team.
The third-year coach did just that this week when he brought a stop sign into the Valpo locker room ahead of Wednesday’s meeting with Bradley.
Powell wanted the Beacons to put a stop to their 10-game losing streak against the Braves, especially with half of those losses coming in the last three years.
