A look back at the year that was for Valparaiso athletics
The chimes from the Victory Bell have been all but silent for the last several weeks.
The hustle and bustle of finals and commencement have come and gone, the student-athletes have returned home, and there’s a feeling of tranquility lingering over Valparaiso’s campus.
Players from the men’s and women’s basketball teams will arrive in the coming days to begin summer workouts. Other programs will begin shuffling on and off campus in June and July to host a variety of camps and clinics. Soon enough, it will be August and the campus will come alive once more.
While preparations are already underway for the start of the 2026-27 season, this serene stretch of the calendar lends an opportunity to take one last look at the 2025-26 campaign.
