The last time Isaiah Stafford played in a college basketball game, it was for the 2023 JUCO national championship.

The last time Darius DeAveiro played a game in a Valparaiso uniform, it was for a different coach and with almost a completely different set of teammates.

To say that things were a little bit different at the ARC on Wednesday night would be an understatement as Valparaiso knocked off Saint Mary-of-the-Woods 82-71 in the lone public exhibition game of the season.
