MBB: With Schwieger and Barrett out, Valparaiso falls to Northern Iowa
Roger Powell Jr. knew the Valparaiso men’s basketball team had its collective back against the wall on Tuesday night.
Playing without star freshman Cooper Schwieger and senior Connor Barrett - both sidelined due to illness - Powell was looking to see who would step up and compete for the Beacons. He found competitors in a pair of frontcourt players.
