VALPARAISO - Elise Swistek and Abby Boyle walked into the Athletics-Recreation Center together on Saturday afternoon.
By Saturday night, the pair of Valparaiso seniors were on the court together, along with their parents, celebrating a successful Senior Night sweep over Evansville.
Beating the Purple Aces meant very little in the grand scheme of things as Saturday was a night for Valparaiso’s rabid volleyball fan base to celebrate Swistek and Boyle, as well as the pair to acknowledge each other.
