Scroggins finds the right fit at Valpo

MBB: Lake Forest grad becomes first 2026 commit for Valparaiso men's basketball

Hudson Scroggins wasn’t interested in a prolonged recruitment process that lasted throughout the entire upcoming basketball season.

The 2025 Lake Forest High School graduate is already set on taking a prep year at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire, but if the right collegiate fit presented itself, Scroggins was ready to make a commitment.

The 6-foot-7 power forward believes he’s found that right fit at Valparaiso.
