Sader Servilus has been called a lot of things during his long recruitment cycle.
The 6-foot-4 guard was called “the Canadian Marcus Smart” by The North Way, a Canadian basketball scouting site. He was compared to fellow Quebec native (and current NBA Finals standout) Luguentz Dort by NorthPole Hoops.
Servilus has been praised for his defensive approach to the game as well as someone who has blossomed offensively in the last year. Those traits have earned him the distinction of being “the biggest steal in the Canadian 2025 class” according to NorthPole Hoops.
Servilus earned another distinction earlier this week. The Fort Erie International Academy product is now a Division I basketball player and he’ll play for Valparaiso after giving his verbal commitment during an official visit on Tuesday. He is taking the final scholarship spot on the 2025-26 roster.
