Sophomore linebacker shines in first career start

The celebration was still in high gear at the Victory Bell last Saturday when Valparaiso football coach Landon Fox arrived on the scene.

The Beacons had just knocked off Indiana Wesleyan 20-17 at Brown Field and the players were each taking a turn at ringing the bell. Fox took everything in and his eyes locked in on a player who was wearing a wider smile than most.
