Nationally-ranked Xavier coming to Brown Field on Thursday night

SOC: Beacons looking to bounce back from 5-0 loss to Ohio

John Marovich has been around long enough that last Sunday’s 5-0 loss to Ohio wasn’t the first blowout defeat the Valparaiso women’s soccer coach has experienced.

It was the first such experience at the collegiate level for Valparaiso freshman Kaleigh Shafer.

Both coach and player are eager to get back on the field on Thursday night at Brown Field so they can put the lessons learned on display.
