MBB: Joliet West senior was Roger Powell Jr.'s first scholarship offer

Roger Powell Jr. and Justus McNair have been linked in more ways than one for longer than McNair has been alive.

Now the two will be linked in their quest to bring a Missouri Valley Conference championship to Valparaiso.

McNair signed his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday evening at a ceremony at Joliet West High School, completing a recruiting process that started long before Powell was hired at Valparaiso.
