Marovich encouraged despite opening setback

CHARLESTON - There was a little more 15 minutes before Valparaiso’s season opener against Eastern Illinois and longtime coach John Marovich had a pep in his step.
The Beacons were going through their final warmups on the field when Marovich walked by the Lakeside Field press box and expressed how excited he was for the season to begin.
