WSOC: Beacons eliminate Northern Iowa; will face Missouri State on Thursday in Des Moines

Kelsie James was never worried that she hadn’t scored a goal in more than two years.

As far as the Valparaiso senior saw it, as long as someone was making sure the Beacons were able to keep on playing soccer together, it didn’t matter who was scoring goals.

On Sunday afternoon, that person was James.
