Inconsistency.

The Beacons got strong efforts on both sides of the ball at times against Dayton on Saturday, but it didn’t happen often enough for Valpo’s football team to come away with a victory.

The Flyers erased an early deficit by scoring 17 straight points and then scoring the final nine of the game in a 26-14 victory at Welcome Stadium in Dayton, Ohio.
