Lottich choosing faith and optimism as Valparaiso endures difficult season

Matt Lottich doesn’t read the message boards. He barely uses Twitter and he might not even read The Victory Bell.

There’s a reasonable possibility that Lottich is unaware at the levels of frustration emanating from various corners of the Valparaiso fan base.

These are the thoughts going through my head as I’m sitting in his office on Monday, Jan. 9. The Valparaiso men’s basketball team is two days removed from a brutal showing at Bradley. I want to take Lottich’s temperature and find out how the outside criticism is impacting him.
