SOC: O'Rear opens up about frightening heart condition
Molly O’Rear has something of a reputation for being stubborn, especially when it comes to dealing with injuries.
Her frustration when it comes to being hurt has been well documented. The Valparaiso forward dealt with a knee injury during her sophomore year that she gutted through because she simply didn’t want to be bothered by a physical ailment.
That stubbornness showed up again in the summer of 2024. Only there was no gutting through it this time.
On the eve of her senior season, O’Rear opened up to The Victory Bell about when everything almost came crashing down.
