The sky may have been falling outside the Valparaiso football program following last Saturday’s loss to Division III Adrian, but come Monday morning, first-year coach Andy Waddle was already looking ahead.
Waddle and his staff went through the film on Sunday and met with the players before turning the page in preparation for a matchup with FCS-scholarship Western Illinois. The Leathernecks have played two FBS opponents in Illinois and Northwestern to start the season. Former Valparaiso coach Landon Fox was hired in the offseason as the Western Illinois defensive coordinator.
Waddle sat down with The Victory Bell earlier this week to close the book on Adrian and look ahead to the Leathernecks.
