MBB: Seven players score in double figures as Valpo delivers largest win in 19 years
VALPARAISO - Devon Ellis scored 16 points in 16 minutes on Friday night and he wasn’t the only Valparaiso men’s basketball player that had fun with numbers during the 2024-25 home opener.
Ellis led seven players in double figures as Valparaiso routed Concordia Ann Arbor 111-46 in the program’s largest win in 19 years.
Friday marked the most points Valpo has scored since beating Concordia Chicago 121-65 to open the 2018-19 season and it marked the largest margin of victory since a 111-41 win over IU-South Bend on Nov. 28, 2005.
