VALPARAISO - There was a buzz going up and down the sideline at Brown Field on Thursday night after the Valparaiso women’s soccer team earned a draw against Missouri State.

The Beacons got the same result against Murray State on Sunday afternoon, but the mood was far more subdued, proving that not all ties are created equal.
