Dawson inks professional contract

FB: Former Valparaiso running back signs with IFL's Jacksonville Sharks

Aaron Dawson never doubted there would be a day when he could call himself a professional football player.

That day finally came on Wednesday when the former Valparaiso running back inked his first professional contract with the Jacksonville Sharks of the Indoor Football League.

Dawson finished his collegiate career with the Beacons in the fall of 2022, but went undrafted or signed during the 2023 season. Still, the talented running back stayed the course and his patience finally paid off.
