Weeks and weeks of recruiting appears to be coming to a head for the Valparaiso men’s basketball team as second-year coach Roger Powell Jr. is getting closer to filling out his roster for the 2024-25 season.
This weekend brought more activity as sophomore forward Jaxon Edwards told The Victory Bell he was entering the transfer portal on Sunday morning. His position was seemingly filled twice over by Sunday night as Holy Cross transfer Louth-Mohamed Coulibaly and Don Bosco Prep product Jayden Watson both confirmed their commitments to The Victory Bell.
North Pole Hoops national scout Joe Moussa was the first to report Coulibaly’s commitment, while Watson announced his commitment on a variety of social media platforms.
