Justus McNair hit a shot that was truly heard around the world on Friday.

The Valparaiso freshman buried a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to complete an improbable 22-point comeback that took less than seven minutes as the Beacons knocked off Western Michigan 76-73 in Kalamazoo.

As the Valparaiso men’s basketball program celebrated together at a previously planned Christmas party back in the Region, the rest of the world started to get wind of just what happened on Friday afternoon.
