Boyd ready to make Valpo her home

WBB: First-year women's basketball coach introduced to Valpo community on Monday

VALPARAISO - Courtney Boyd felt right at home on Monday morning.

It wasn’t because she was taking part in her first official day as the Valparaiso women’s basketball coach. After all, Boyd still doesn’t know if she has keys to her office.

The feeling wasn’t because Boyd woke up in a familiar setting. Her and her family are still living out of a hotel and Boyd even made a plea to realtors on Monday that she is looking to buy.

Boyd felt right at home on Monday because her introductory press conference was held on the basketball court.

Now she’s prepared to make the Athletics-Recreation Center her home.
