FB: Valparaiso releases 2024 roster on the eve of training camp

With little fanfare, the Valparaiso football program released its roster for the upcoming 2024 season on Monday night.

New jersey numbers, new positions and plenty of new players.

The roster is currently filled with 123 names and as of Monday night, that’s all the roster is. Just names on a proverbial sheet of paper.

On Tuesday, those names become living, breathing football players as the Beacons will report for the start of training camp. The first practice of camp will be held on Wednesday.

The Victory Bell will have plenty of coverage in the weeks leading up to the start of the season, including position-by-position breakdowns. As for now, here is a quick look at the 2024 roster with some superlatives and a look at the new transfers added to the program since the beginning of summer.
