VALPARAISO - Sara Strauss walked along the pool deck at the Valparaiso Aquatics Center on Friday night with athletic tape covering a large portion of her right arm.

If there ever was a visual depiction of the Valparaiso swim team in its final event of the 2023 calendar year, the image of the junior being held together by tape while pushing through Friday’s event would absolutely be it.
