WEST LAFAYETTE - John Marovich had the confidence to take the Valparaiso women’s soccer team on the road to Notre Dame during the exhibition season and to Purdue for the first road game of the 2023 campaign.

After a pair of lopsided losses against Power 5 competition, nothing has happened that has shaken Marovich’s confidence in his squad.

The Beacons surrendered a goal in the first five minutes on Thursday night and gave up another less than 10 minutes later as the Boilermakers pulled away for a 4-1 win at Folk Field.
